Seaside Series: Juniper Ginger

July 30 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Juniper Ginger is the solo songwriting project of Alex Millan, a southern Maine-based musician and educator. Alex combines her passions for performance and teaching by pulling back the curtain whenever possible – whether it be through writing workshops utilizing the Documentary Songwriting method, “how it’s made” storytelling sessions, or utilizing audience feedback in real time. In this program Alex will perform a set of recently released material, and illuminate the tools and techniques that went into their creation. Lyric geeks rejoice!

When not singing her songs wherever she is welcome to, Alex is a teaching artist and sound engineer for DocSong, frequent collaborator with Stonington faves Dead Gowns, middle school teacher, and cat lover.
